Huyton Liverpool
Picea Design has secured Planning Approval on a number of apartment projects for a private Lancashire based developer.
All the sites are located within the Huyton area of the city and therefore fall within the control of Knowsley MBC.
Throughout the planning & design process Picea Design worked closely with officers from the Council to secure Full Planning Approvals on these challenging sites.
The client wished to maximise the footage and therefore revenue returns on the schemes. This required bespoke design solutions with loft space accommodation and in one case undercroft parking solutions.
The completed schemes have provided much needed housing in a sustainable location which in part has assisted in the Council's regeneration programme.
The projects have been included within Knowsley Council's residential Design Guide as good practice examples of brownfield residential development.
