Rope Lane Wistaston

Picea Design was instructed by the client to investigate the development potential of an unoccupied bungalow in this established residential area of Crewe.

Following further negotiations with the immediate neighbour, who was looking to retire away from Crewe, a scheme was designed to create a select development of 12 no. dwellings.

The frontage development onto Rope Lane is made up of 2 no. apartment blocks, which were designed to fit into the surrounding vernacular, by introducing feature bay windows and timber detailing.

4 no. linked detached houses are sited to the rear of the plot, providing in curtilage parking/garaging and maximising footage coverage.

The development creates an internal courtyard with parking provision for the apartments, cycle storage and re-cycle areas.

Picea Design secured Full Planning Approval for the development and brokered the site to a Local Developer on behalf of the client.
