Meadowbank Avenue Sandbach

A Full Planning Approval has been secured on this small brownfield site in Sandbach on behalf of Zan Ltd.

The development was presented as an extension to the recently completed housing scheme on Meadowbank Avenue, but with the use of  appropriately designed units using traditional and local vernacular themes rather than off-the-shelf  house types.

The previous use and proximity of the retained commercial uses to the south of the site required careful assessment of potential contamination and noise remediation requirements.

In addition, the site’s proximity to an established wildlife corridor required appropriate assessment of potential impact on protected species.

Notwithstanding the above complications, the Application was approved under delegated powers within the statutory period.
